Uh Oh... Can't access the Website or First Draft? This might be why.
1. Your computer isn't compatible with the software.
First Draft works on Windows operating systems only, so to save resources, access to the software from non-Windows systems is not available. If you want to use First Draft nonetheless, and you have a Windows computer laying around somewhere, use it to request a demo from the website. Trust me. You don't want to miss out on this!
2. You're not located in a supported area.
The content inside the software is specific to the majority English-speaking culture (as defined by Windows Locale Codes). That includes historial references, geographical locations, government-type organizations, vocabulary, tone, point-of-view, expression, and even humor.
This commitment to a single language and culture is just one of the things that makes First Draft a high quality writing program. Access, therefore, from outside the supported areas listed below is rare and based on special circumstances only. (Example: customers who are also traveling abroad.)
Supported areas:
- United States
- Australia
- Belize
- Canada
- Caribbean
- Jamaica
- New Zealand
- Philippines
- South Africa
- Trinidad
At this time, First Draft is additionally not available in countries that are "covered" by GDPR, currently sanctioned, or part of a legal framework that contradicts international copyright treaties and conventions.
3. Other Reasons
If none of that stuff described above applies to you, first - {{{sad face}}}, second - you might be connecting to justoutsourcing.com with Chrome, through a funky network known for spamming, scraping webpages, or other weird things. Try connecting to the site through a non-VPN, non-proxy, and non-host network. (Note: This will not work for folks who've been banned from the site.)
Troubleshoot
If none of the above situations apply, try downloading and installing a fresh copy of First Draft. Or sending an email to support@justoutsourcing.com for assistance.
